What if… the best way to confront the darkness – our greatest challenges – doesn’t come from going deeper into the shadows, but from seizing the light? …looking to extract the brilliance from the diversity of thought, experiences and perspectives that our differences can yield…
What if… instead of trying to be blind to ethnicity, gender or circumstance, we see it more intensely? Not as a judgement but as a path to learning and understanding…to human connection rather than demographic abstraction…
What is it…
THE DIFFERENCE PROJECT is an experiment – an exploration – of these hypotheses from the broadest set of different perspectives possible. It is an attempt to prove, disprove or, most likely, shape a whole new hypothesis on how to use difference to make a difference...to make systemic change toward a safer, fairer, more inclusive world.
It's a series of live digital conversations about how our differences might bring us together to pursue common goals rather than divide us. It's a conversation that we want our audience to be a part of and contribute to.
